Bags and refuse sacks are normally made from Polyethylene (PE). It’s the most common type of plastic with 90 million tons produced globally every year.
Although strong and convenient, PE is unfortunately made mostly from fossil fuels like oil & natural gas. It also lasts indefinitely in our natural world. GreenPolly aims to make a difference.
We consume and recycle discarded plastics turning them into a range of innovative waste disposal bags. GreenPolly is unique as it uses 100% post-consumer plastic.

SCS Global Services (SCS) has been providing global leadership in third-party quality, environmental and sustainability verification, certification, auditing, testing, and standards development for three decades. SCS is accredited to provide services under a wide range of nationally and internationally recognized certification programs. Consistent with its mission, SCS is a chartered benefit corporation, reflecting its commitment to socially and environmentally responsible business practices. GreenPolly Clear Bags, GreenPolly Trash Bags, and GreenPolly Pet Waste Bags have all been SCS Recycled Content Certified.
The Trash, Clear, and Pet Waste Bags conform to SCS Recycled Content Standard V7-0 for a Minimum 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Polyethylene Content. The material quantification and mass-balance calculations are completed on a dry-weight basis.
